The Role

Omni is landing in Japan, and we need a Founding Leader. As our first hire in the region, you will act as the Japan Country Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

You will architect the Japan GTM strategy, navigate the intricacies of the local Enterprise landscape, and personally close the foundational deals that establish Omni’s legacy in the market. You own the strategy; you own the results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute the Japan market-entry strategy. You aren't just following a playbook; you’re writing the Japanese edition.

• Masterfully navigate the C-Suite and "Ringi" decision-making processes of Japan’s largest Enterprise organizations.

• Lead the region with absolute precision using MEDDPICC. We don’t guess; we qualify.

• Build a fortress of Tech and SI partnerships. In Japan, trust is currency and you will be the face of to our local partners and integrators.

• Partner with Global Engineering to localize our value proposition, ensuring our BI solutions resonate with the specific technical demands of Japanese data teams.

About You

• 10+ years of high-performance SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of scaling a brand from zero to market leader in Japan.

• You possess the executive presence to command a boardroom at a Global 2000 company while maintaining the "builder" mindset of a Series C startup.

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English are non-negotiable. You are the translator of our vision and our value.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a first-on-the-ground hire for a US-based high-growth startup.

• A deep existing network of CIOs, CDOs, and SI partners across Tokyo and Osaka.

• You speak the language of the Modern Data Stack. You’ve sold BI, Analytics or ETL.
  

Location

This is a remote role in Japan.

Compensation

¥47.0M – ¥52.9M JPY OTE (50/50 split)
