About the Role

We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to own our revenue operations and technical accounting. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will lead ASC 606 implementation, manage month-end close, and ensure our financial systems are audit-ready.

This is a remote-first role for a self-motivated professional who can bridge the gap between complex GAAP standards and scalable business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Revenue Operations: Own the end-to-end revenue function, ensuring including ASC 606 implementation and ongoing compliance, drafting and maintaining technical accounting memos and policies and accurate financial reporting.

  • Month-End Close: Manage the close process for revenue, deferred revenue, and AR, including reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis.

  • System Optimization: Support the design and testing of Quote-to-Cash initiatives to improve scalability.

  • Audit & Compliance: Act as the primary contact for external auditors and manage indirect tax compliance.

  • Internal Expert: Serve as the go-to SME for revenue and AR questions across the organization, maintaining clear process documentation.

About you

  • Expertise: 5+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Accounting (specifically ASC 606 and ASC 326).

  • Process Mastery: Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle and a track record of driving process improvements.

  • Independence: Proven ability to identify issues and automate solutions in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills to influence change across departments.
