Role Overview
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling the systems that power our agentic solutions. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you’ll:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and services
- Implement scalable back-end services and user-friendly front-end interfaces
- Contribute technical insights and support proof-of-concept (POC) projects
- Take ownership of modules and participate in defining best practices and architecture
What You'll Do
- Build & Deliver: Develop robust, efficient systems that automate supply chain workflows in close partnership with senior engineers
- Feature Implementation: Translate business requirements into features across our React front end and Node.js/Python back end
- POC Support: Assist in proof-of-concept projects—help define technical requirements, write production-quality code, and iterate based on feedback
- Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security through code reviews and following best practices
- Team Collaboration: Partner with AI, product, and operations teams to integrate business context into our solutions
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our systems, tooling, and development processes
- Compliance: Support the maintenance of system confidentiality, integrity, and availability in alignment with BackOps.ai information security and privacy policies
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of professional full-stack development, delivering production web applications or services
- Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments—adaptable, resourceful, and eager to take initiative
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks (React), and back-end languages (Node.js, Python)
- Problem Solver: Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and deliver practical solutions
- Collaborative Communicator: Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to work well within a small, fast-moving team
- Quality & Security: Committed to writing secure, high-quality code in accordance with company standards
